Sub-Clinical Depression Early Interventions Reduce Depression Risk By 42%
People with sub-clinical depression who received six to 12 sessions of early therapeutic intervention for depression were 42% less likely than those who received no interventions to develop clinical depression during next six months. After 12 months, the risk was 33% lower. Early therapeutic interventions included conference telephone calls, face-to-face meetings, internet-based meetings, and communication via other formats.
