Summit Behavioral HealthCare Acquires Focus Healthcare Of California/ Sacramento

On May 23, 2014, privately held Summit Behavioral Healthcare, LLC (Summit) it had acquired privately held for-profit Focus Healthcare of California, LLC (Focus), a 48-bed residential addiction treatment facility located in Sacramento, California. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. As part of Summit, the facility has been rebranded as Valley Recovery Center of California (Valley). The Focus Healthcare leadership team, including Chief Executive Officer Steve Brugge, and employees have become part of Summit.
