Support Worker Turnover A Concern For 28% Of Children With I/DD & 34% Of Adults
Recent National Core Indicators (NCI) family surveys found that support worker turnover remains a significant concern for families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Among family members of children with I/DD, 28% reported that their child's support workers change too often. Among caregivers of adults with I/DD, 34% reported that support worker turnover occurs too frequently.
