Talkspace Launching Nationwide Psychiatry Service With Prescription Option

Talkspace, a telebehavioral health company that provides online mental health therapy, is launching a psychiatry service line that will be available nationwide by December of 2019. Talkspace Psychiatry has a network of 100 psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners who are able to meet with consumers via video sessions and, if appropriate, prescribe non-controlled substances. The service began serving select areas in December of 2018, and is currently available in New York, Washington, Arizona, and Alaska.
