Telehealth Use Cut ED Wait Times By 66% At NewYork-Presbyterian
The use of telehealth technology has helped cut wait times at the NewYork-Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell Medical Center (NewYork-Presbyterian) emergency department (ED) by an average of 66% between August 2016 and May 2017. During this time, average wait times in the ED lasted 121 minutes, while average telehealth wait times lasted 39.5 minutes.
