Telehealth use among those with private health insurance increased by about 2.4% across almost all U.S. Census regions in August 2021. Use of telehealth, as a percentage of all medical claim lines from July to August 2021, declined by 3.3% in the Midwest region, and increased by 2.0% in the Northeast, 12.9% in the South, and by 1.75% in the West.
