Telehealth User Satisfaction Is High
User satisfaction is high among consumers who have used telehealth services, according to a J.D. Power survey. The overall customer satisfaction score for telehealth services is 851 (on a 1,000-point scale), and is 900 or higher among 46% of telehealth users. However, the telehealth penetration rate is low, at only 9.6%. Additional findings include:
About 64.4% of consumers are more likely to use telehealth if the cost is less than their copay for a physician's office visit.
About 65% of telehealth users used the service because they received a positive recommendation from others.
