Tennessee Proposes To Integrate I/DD Services Into Medicaid Managed Care

On March 15, 2021, the State of Tennessee submitted an amendment to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) proposing to integrate long-term services and supports (LTSS): HCBS provided through 3 Section 1915(c) HCBS waivers and Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) services into the state’s existing TennCare managed care service delivery system.
