Texas Announces North Texas As Next Area For Foster Care Redesign, RFP Expected In December 2015

On October 9, 2015, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) announced that it had selected DFPS Region 2, covering 30 counties in Northwest Texas, as the next area to implement Foster Care Redesign. DFPS anticipates releasing the Region 2 request for proposals for a Single Source Continuum Contract (SSCC) no sooner than December 2015.
