Texas Awards New Autism Program Grants

On February 3, 2016, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) announced six final contract awards for the DARS Autism Program in four HHSC regions; these awards are in addition to seven awarded in October 2015. The DARS Autism Program provides access to applied behavior analysis (ABA) and other autism treatment services to underserved children between ages three and 15 years old who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
