Texas CASA Launches Pilot Collaborative Family Engagement Program

TexasCASA, in partnership with three local Texas Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) programs, launched two-year pilot Collaborative Family Engagement (CFE) program in April 2016. The goal of CFE is to improve outcomes for children entering the foster care system by identifying, locating, and engaging family members and other committed adults so they may be involved in the child’s care and permanency planning.
