Texas DFPS Awards Child Welfare Information System Contract To InfoSys

On March 8, 2017, Infosys Public Services announced it had been selected to modernize the Texas child welfare information system. Infosys will partner with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to update the state’s IMPACT (Information Management Protecting Adults and Children of Texas) system, which provides primary case management and administration for the state’s child welfare system.

The contract is for Phase 2 of the IMPACT Modernization initiative. The initiative started in 2014. The DFPS Online IMPACT Modernization - Phase 1 contract was awarded in 2013 to Accenture. DFPS released the request for proposals (RFP 530--16 . . .
