Texas To Expand Foster Care Redesign To 30 Additional Counties; Proposals Due By October 3, 2016

On August 1, 2016, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) released the third Foster Care Redesign request for proposals (RFP 530-16-0036) seeking bids to become the single source continuum contractor (SSCC) for the 30 counties in Region 2 in North Texas. The SSCC is a risk-based arrangement in which the contractor receives a blended foster care case rate to provide all services needed by children in foster care in the catchment region.
