Texas DFPS Suspends Placements & Bars CEO Of Children’s Hope Residential Services Inc. From Further Involvement In Contracts
In late January 2016, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) suspended placements with Children’s Hope Residential Services; and in early February 2016, barred the organization’s chief executive officer (CEO) James Aldrich from any further involvement in any of the organization’s contract operations due to contract violations. DFPS has transferred children placed at the organization’s three foster care campuses in Levelland and Lubbock to other placements.
DFPS removed Mr. Aldrich from the contracts after unannounced monitoring visits from the DFPS Child Protective Services, Residential Child Care Licensing, and Residential Child Care Contracting divisions found . . .
