Texas DFPS To Expand Community-Based Foster Care To Four More Regions

On April 29, 2022, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) released a request for application (RFA HHS0011832) seeking contractors to manage foster care and kinship care placements in four Community-Based Care areas. When these four new contracts go live, privatized Community-Based Care contracts will cover half the state.
