Texas Medicaid To Pilot Managed Long-Term Services & Supports For Adults With I/DD

The Texas Medicaid program is preparing to pilot managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) provided for adult beneficiaries with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) enrolled in one of three home- and community-based services (HCBS) waivers. The two-year pilot program is slated to begin by September 1, 2017; it will provide participants with MLTSS coordinated with acute care services.
