Texas Releases Region 9/10 Foster Care RFI; No Bids Received On Previous RFAs

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) released a request for information (RFI) on July 22, 2204, about expanding its Community-Based Care (CBC) model for foster care to state region 9 (Permian/Concho) and region 10 (El Paso). The RFI seeks input from stakeholders in the two regions because DFPS received no responses to a prior request for applications for private provider organizations to serve as CBC lead agencies in the two regions. DFPS is accepting questions about the RFI through August 20, 2024, and seeks responses by September 3, 2024.
