Top Five High-Grossing Non-Profit Hospital CEO Compensation Rates Ranged From $1.1 Million To $6 Million In 2012
In 2011 and 2012, the chief executive officers (CEOs) at the five highest-grossing non-profit hospitals earned average compensation of $3 million. Compensation ranged from $1.8 million to more than $6 million. Nationwide, in 2009, average compensation for a non-profit hospital CEO was $595,781; median compensation was $404,938.
