Topeka Correctional Facility In Kansas Launches Community Health Worker Development Reentry Program
The Topeka Correctional Facility (TCF) in Kansas launched a workforce development reentry program to train incarcerated women as community health workers (CHWs), according to a recent announcement. The seven-month work-release internship program is designed to strengthen the state’s community health workforce while creating employment pathways for individuals preparing to reenter the community.
