Two More States Announced For CMS AHEAD Model; Six In Total Participating

On October 28, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced Rhode Island and a subsection of New York were selected to participate in the third cohort of the voluntary States Advancing All-Payer Health Equity Approaches and Development (AHEAD) Model. The New York counties of Bronx, Kings, Queens, Richmond, and Westchester will participate. The AHEAD Model will run for 11 years, from summer 2024 through December 2034.
