U.S. Suicide Rates Unchanged From 2018 To 2022, At 14 Per 100,000
The age-adjusted suicide rate has remained essentially the same at 14 per 100,000 from 2018 to 2022. Between 2002 and 2018, the rate increased by 30%, from 10.9 per 100,000 to 14.2 per 100,000. From 2018 through 2020 the rate declined to 13.5 per 100,000. Between 2020 to 2022, the rate increased by 14.2 per 100,000.
