U.S. Telehealth Use Increases Between September & October 2024, Except In Midwest
Telehealth use increased in all regions of the United States except the Midwest between September and October 2024. Overall, telehealth claim lines for the commercially insured population increased from 4.8% of medical claim lines in September to 4.89% in October, a 2% increase. Regionally, the greatest increase was in the West, at 2.8%. In the South, telehealth claim lines increased by 1.2%. In the Northeast, telehealth claim lines increased by 1%. In the Midwest, telehealth claim lines decreased by 3.7%.
