United States Health Care Spending Growth For 2015 Projected At 5.5% & 4.8% For 2016

National health spending growth is projected to have been 5.5% in 2015, and is projected to be 4.8% in 2016. Health care spending growth was 5.3% in 2014. However, a rise averaging 5.8% annually is projected for the 2015 and 2015 decade. The share of total health expenditures paid for by federal, state, and local governments is projected to increase from 45% in 2014 to 47% by 2025.
