Universal Health Services To Acquire Talkspace For $835 Million

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the virtual behavioral health platform Talkspace, Inc., in a transaction valued at $835 million. The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2026. UHS plans to leverage the Talkspace professional network and virtual behavioral health platform to support the creation of a nationally scaled, end-to-end continuum in behavioral health care that facilitates transitions across care settings and improves access for payers and consumers.
