Utah Division Of Juvenile Justice Services Awards $119 Million Salt Lake Valley Detention Center Services Contract To Cornerstone Programs Corp.

On January 1, 2014, the Utah State Department of Human Services, Division of Juvenile Justice Services (DJJS) awarded Cornerstone Programs Corporation its second consecutive contract to operate the DJJS Salt Lake Valley Detention Center. The initial contract term runs from January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014, followed by four one-year extension options through December 31, 2018. The contract has an aggregate value of $119.7 million over the five-year period.
