Utah Selects Site For 1,300-Bed Statewide Homeless Complex
The Utah Office of Homeless Services and the Utah Homeless Services Board are moving forward with plans for a 1,300-bed, 15.85-acre, statewide homelessness services campus, according to a recent announcement. The campus will provide housing, supportive services, and mental health or addiction treatment needed for individuals to move from homelessness to long-term stability. Planned services include wraparound on-site services to provide recovery supports, employment assistance, criminal justice assistance, and housing. Initial operations are slated to begin in 2027.
