Value Of Behavioral Care Deals Down By 18% Compared To 2023
The value of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) related to behavioral health care declined by 18% during January through April 2024, compared to the same time period in 2023, according to data reported by Levin Associates. M&A deal value declined from $122 million for the first half of 2023 to $100 million for the first four months of 2024. Deal volume in the first half of 2024 was 2% lower than the same time period in 2023.
