Veterans Affairs Updates Stroke Rehabilitation Guidelines To Address Interventions For Depression As Well As For Improving Motor Function
In a recent update to clinical practice guidelines for stroke rehabilitation, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)/Department of Defense (DoD) included six recommendations for treating depression that often surfaces after a stroke. These recommendations for depression were among 47 about specific treatments to improve motor function and activities to improve transition to the community.
