Veyo Launches Idaho Medicaid Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Contract
On July 1, 2016, Veyo launched a $70 million, three-year contract as the new Idaho Medicaid non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker. Veyo was selected in March 2016, following a competitive procurement process. The contract has renewal options and could last for a total of eight years. Veyo is working with more than 100 transportation provider organizations across the state, and is implementing its NEMT model that includes commercial drivers and independent driver-providers (IDPs). The company is currently managing an average of 4,000 to 5,000 trips each day throughout the state.
