Washington State DCYF Expands Home Visiting Services Contracts

On November 14, 2019, the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) announced it awarded $1 million in funding to expand home visiting services by 146 more families. DCYF selected four home visiting programs to expand their existing services. The programs are operated by Spokane County Health District, Thurston County Public Health and Social Services, West African Community Council and Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. The contracts are issued in December and are renegotiated and renewed annually based on contract compliance and quality.
