Washington State Advocacy Group Creates Advance Directive Regarding Oral Feeding For People With Progressive Dementia
A Washington state organization that advocated for medical aid-in-dying has created an advance directive for feeding guidelines for people with progressive dementia. End of Life Washington (EOLWA) created the directive using the state's 2009 Death with Dignity Act for those who wish to not be offered food and drink by hand if they are unable to eat and drink under their own capacity.
