Washington’s Pasco School District Selects Hazel Health For Student Telehealth Counseling
On April 25, 2022, the Pasco School District (PSD) in Washington State launched a free student mental health teletherapy service with Hazel Health. The district is sponsoring up to six teletherapy sessions per year lasting from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the student’s age. PSD is using federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding to cover the cost of this program. The ESSER funding was released as a response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency. The contract runs through March 2023.
