Wayspring Completes $75 Million Funding Round Including Centene & Valtruis
On September 28, 2021, Wayspring, formerly axialHealthcare, announced its new company name, and a $75 million investment from Valtruis, Centene Corporation, and other leading investors. Wayspring will use the capital to scale its value-based care solution, a full-risk medical home model for addiction.
Wayspring enters full-risk contracts with health plans and at-risk provider organization networks. Its medical home model for addiction treatment is intended for “the highest risk” individuals with addiction disorder. “High risk” is defined by the health plan or at-risk provider organization.
