Wearable Device Use Increased From 30.2% To 41.1% Among Adults With Cardiovascular Disease Or Risk Factors, But Data Sharing Remains Low
The percentage of adults with cardiovascular disease (CVD) or CVD risk factors in the United States who used a wearable health monitoring device increased from 30.2% in 2020 to 41.1% in 2024, according to a recent analysis. However, consistent use and sharing of wearable device data with clinical professionals remained limited. About half of those with a device used it daily.
