Web-Based Group Intervention For People With TBI Improved Their Emotional Regulation Skills
More than 80% of adults diagnosed with traumatic brain injury (TBI) who completed a web-based group intervention (Online EmReg) focused on improving emotional regulation skills reported significant improvements in their ability to voluntarily modify their emotional and behavioral responses to stressful triggers in situationally appropriate ways. OnlineEmReg is a 12-week web-based rehabilitation intervention that provides 24 60-minute emotional regulation sessions twice a week for 12 weeks, delivered online in a group format.
