West Piedmont Workforce Investment Board Selects ResCare Workforce Services
On October 1, 2014, ResCare Workforce Services started a new contract with the West Piedmont Workforce Investment Board (WPWIB) in Virginia. ResCare is providing Workforce Investment Act (WIA) training and placement services for adults and dislocated workers, and serves as the one-stop operator in Henry and Pittsylvania counties. The initial contract term, valued at $762,502, runs from October 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, followed by up to two additional 12-month extension options. Under this contract, ResCare will serve about 800 people annually.
