West Virginia Expands Medicaid Addiction Treatment Continuum
The West Virginia Medicaid plan is expanding the state’s addiction treatment coverage to include medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as of January 16, 2018, and residential treatment starting in July 2018. The services will be delivered through the state’s Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs).
