West Virginia Issues Medicaid Managed Care RFP For Its Mountain Health Trust Program
On December 17, 2019, the West Virginia Department of Administration Purchasing Division issued a request for proposals (RFP BMS2000000002) for Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) to deliver physical and behavioral health services statewide for individuals enrolled in West Virginia’s Medicaid managed care program, Mountain Health Trust. Proposals are due by February 12, 2020. The state intends to award a contract to three potential health plans with an anticipated contract period starting July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, followed by three optional one-year renewals.
