Students With Disabilities File IDEA Violation Complaint Against Oakland Unified School District & California Department Of Education

On March 16, 2015, on behalf of 10 special education students enrolled in the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) Disability Rights California filed a complaint against the district with the California Department of Education for violations of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The state is investigating the complaint; no formal hearing will take place.
