In this session, ANCOR director for state partnerships and special projects Donna Martin shared highlights from the organization’s collaborative annual report with United Cerebral Palsy entitled “The Case for Inclusion.” Attendees learned which states are most successfully promoting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The 2021 report examines policies that address providers’ immediate needs triggered by the pandemic, policies that supercharge the direct support workforce, and policies fostering innovations that enable better outcomes.
