On March 11, 2020, the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) held a Board of Directors meeting. The meeting outlined a dispute held between the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority and Metrocare Services previously discussed at board meetings held on January 8, 2020, and February 12, 2020. The two entities reached a contract agreement on March 25, 2020. NTBHA proposed reducing Metrocare’s contract rate by about $600,000 annually because NTBHA seeks to equalize its support to all of its contractors (about 24 organizations) that provide similar services, which would reduce how much state funding is directed to Metrocare . . .
