In June 2013, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) released the 2012 Uniform Reporting System (URS) data sets for each state. The URS consists of standardized tables that state mental health agencies (SMHAs) submit each December to the National Association of State Mental health Program Directors Research Institute (NRI).
