June 15, 2010 A report sponsored by the Health Resources and Services AdministrationÂ’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau found that only 45.6% of the nearly 7.4 million children in the United States diagnosed with one or more emotional, developmental, or behavioral health condition received needed mental health services for depression, anxiety, Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, conduct disorders, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delay, and Tourette Syndrome.
