CDC Temporary Halt In Residential Evictions To Prevent The Further Spread Of COVID-19, Final Order
The order was released on June 24,2021, by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It is the CDC’s final order extending a national moratorium on evictions to limit the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The goal was to supporting the stay-at-home orders to allow people to remain in their rental housing without fear of eviction even if they were not able to pay rent (all unpaid rent would be due after the moratorium expired).
