December 1, 2010 New Centers for Medicare and Medicaid regulations allow children and individuals with severe needs to be enrolled in standard comprehensive Medicaid instead of Medicaid benchmark plans. Most individuals who are newly eligible for Medicaid under the health reform will be enrolled in benchmark plans.
