United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division Investigation Of Iowa Glenwood & Woodward Resource Centers
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) Civil Rights Division released its investigation report on December 8, 2021. The DOJ investigated the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) to determine whether the state unnecessarily institutionalized individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) due to a lack of community-based services.
