On December 11, 2020, the Minnesota Office of the Revisor of Statutes released this document containing the Department of Health's proposed permanent rules governing assisted living facilities. The new Assisted Living Licensure laws go into effect Aug. 1, 2021 and applies to:
Current and future facilities providing assisted living services and sleeping accommodations.
Arranged home care providers in a housing with services (HWS) establishment. HWS
designation will no longer be available as of Aug. 1, 2021.
