2018 OPEN MINDS Performance Management Institute Exhibit Hall Sold Out: Limited Registrations Available

Gettysburg, Pa. (February 4, 2018) — OPEN MINDS announced that the upcoming 2018 OPEN MINDS Performance Management Institute, to be held February 14-16, 2018 in Clearwater Beach, Florida at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, sold out the 30 spaces in the exhibit hall and is quickly approaching maximum registration capacity. Registration is expected to sell out by the end of this week.

For two days, 450+ executives from the behavioral health and human service field’s leading organizations – provider, payer, technology, and pharmaceutical – will gather to discuss new techniques and strategies for improving performance. This year’s event is focused on negotiating sustainable contracts with payers and health plans, building organizational infrastructure for new business models, and realigning management, financial, and clinical operations to optimize performance and success.

The main program will kick off on February 15, 2018 with a keynote address from Gus Giraldo, President, Commercial Markets, Magellan Healthcare, as he provides a plenary address on “Building Commercial Health Plan Partnerships: Magellan’s Model For Mental Health Management.” Day two of the institute will open with featured speaker Carole A. Matyas, M.S.W., Vice President, Behavioral Health Operations, Wellcare Health Plans, Inc., with the plenary address “Overcoming The Impediments To Value-Based Reimbursement.”

In addition to the main 2018 OPEN MINDS Performance Management Institute itself, OPEN MINDS will offer an additional two seminars and one summit at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort. These “deep-dive” workshops are designed to provide executives of health and human services organizations the knowledge, insights, and best practices to shift their reimbursement market, as well as how to manage unit costs in the shifting landscape to accommodate the market rate, while improving quality and increasing sales.
