This institute is the only national event focused on the management best practices and “must have” competencies that health and human service executives need to improve the service system. “Sustainability in this new environment requires staying up-to-date on the industry’s management and best practices,” says Monica E. Oss, Chief Executive Officer at OPEN MINDS. “In order get ahead of the curve, leaders must continually refresh their knowledge of the clinical, financial, and administrative practices needed to run today’s organizations serving consumers with chronic conditions and deliver on what payers want. This institute brings executives and experts from leading organizations to explore successful and innovative treatment programs and share their strategies for success in a complicated health and human services market.”
The institute officially kicks off on August 30, with The 2022 OPEN MINDS Children’s Services Executive Summit, which features keynote April Hamilton, Executive Deputy Director, Division of Program Development and Management, Office of Health Insurance Programs at the New York State Department of Health’s Office of Health Insurance Programs. Our keynotes will be followed by a full day of sessions on the latest trends, from optimizing workforce recruitment and retention in the face of retail health organizations like Amazon and Walmart, developing ‘winning’ health plan contracts by demonstrating results, improving ‘your brand’ through marketing-based practices, and making mergers work.

And executives will discuss creating new service line opportunities during the session, “Preparing For CalAIM – Developing New Service Models To Capitalize On The New CalAIM Opportunities.”
