Adopting A Framework For Trauma-Informed Culture—OPEN MINDS Executive Roundtable Featuring Youth Home, December 18, 2025
Gettysburg, PA (December 14, 2025)—OPEN MINDS invites leading health care executives to join Youth Home for the OPEN MINDS Executive Roundtable, Building A Trauma-Informed Culture: The Youth Home Case Study, to be held on December 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET. This one-hour webinar will showcase how Youth Home adopted an organizational framework to embed trauma-informed care (TIC) as a cultural and clinical foundation.
The session will feature Peggy Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of Youth Home, Inc. She will share how in 2018, Youth Home launched an organization-wide transformation toward TIC, including leadership alignment, staff-wide training, and structural redesigns that changed treatment, communication, and workplace safety. She will also present a clear roadmap for embedding TIC principles into operations.
“The transition to a trauma-informed approach to care is a complex endeavor,” said Monica E. Oss, Chief Executive Officer of OPEN MINDS. It must be applied to all leadership levels, care models, and consumer needs at every touchpoint.
Executive attendees of this roundtable will learn:
- How to identify indicators of cultural misalignment and recognize when a system-wide shift toward TIC is needed.
- What organizational structures and leadership commitments are required to make the principles of TIC operational across departments.
- How to manage and overcome implementation barriers, from staff resistance to communication breakdowns, while maintaining momentum for change.
